This holiday season, the Denver skyline will come alive with the Mile High Drone Show. For 40 magical nights, 400 drones will soar into the sky, creating holiday-themed animations. You’ll be able to witness these dazzling displays every night at 7 p.m. for free.
The Mile High Drone Show isn’t just a typical light display—it’s a state-of-the-art performance featuring a dozen or more festive animations that span nearly 400 feet high and 500 feet wide. From Santa and his reindeer to iconic Denver landmarks like the Mile High Tree and Denver Union Station, each night will bring a new visual experience to life.
The drones will launch just west of downtown. Here are some top spots to watch the 15-minute spectacles:

Denver Pavilions is a shopping mall located on the 16th Street Mall in Downtown Denver, Colorado. Originally opened in 1998, the open-air mall has over 40 stores and restaurants.

We are pleased to announce that we are again offering free guided tours of the Capitol.
These tours take about an hour and include a trip to the dome observation area. The dome is a 99-step climb above the 3rd floor and is accessible by stairs only. If you are not able to make the climb, we offer a video presentation of the dome on the third floor. (Self-guided tours of the dome are not permitted.)
The Capitol is open Monday-Friday, 7:30-5:00. Daily tours will be available at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. Capitol tours are limited to 15 people, first come first serve.

Learn the rich history of the United States Mint and how we produce billions of coins each year for the American public with a free, guided tour of the Denver facility.
Tour tickets are available from the Tour Information Window on Cherokee Street between Colfax Avenue and West 14th Avenue. It opens at 7 a.m. on Monday through Thursday (excluding observed federal holidays), and will remain open until all tickets have been distributed.
Tickets are for same-day tours only; no advance tickets are available. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to 5 per person. All visitors must be 7 years and older.
We recommend arriving at the ticket window as early as possible for your best opportunity to obtain tickets, as they run out quickly. Peak season is Memorial Day through Labor Day, but the tours are very popular year round.
The Denver Mint offers up to 6 tours a day with a maximum of 50 people on each tour, with tours lasting approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Tours are offered Monday through Thursday (excluding observed federal holidays) at 7:30 a.m., 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m.
